Derived from "Breteh Abezyanni" which means shaved monkeys is Russian. To call someone a yanni is to say they are primitive and stupid. Mainly by thier movements and behavior. Many african americans label this term racist but it does not target any race. A term coined in secret circles of Seattle and Auburn Washington.

Yanni is one of the gayest names you could name your son/daughter. Yanni (s) can be very skinny and most times cant get a girlfriend

A made up names people think sounds like Laurel. The trend of 2018 made everyone argue if the video was saying Yanny or Laurel. People quickly found out that the original sound was, in fact, Laurel.
