Someone who lives and dies for their music. They usually have long hair,wear band shirts, leather,denim and spikes. It does not matter which genre of metal they listen to, (whether it's black,death,thrash,or glam) as long they like it loud, and love getting wasted.
The metal heads stood in the parking lot outside of the Slayer concert hours before the show , drinking beer, headbanging, and blaring all of their albums.

While not inherently a sub-genre, it is still a form of metal that is distinct in lyrics, goregrind , deathgrind , death metal , and some grindcore fit under this blanket term. There was also an album in 1998 called Gore Metal was released by the band Exhumed, and combines carcass inspired grind, melodic solos, and death metal into one masterful album. Bands that fall under this term are Exhumed, Haemorrhage, Carcass, Repulsion, and many MANY more.

The genre of music for bands which label themselves as things like death metal, metalcore, or power metal but are really much softer than they let on. The members of these bands usually dress more like members of an emo band.
Pussy metal bands try to seem brutal or extreme, but usually their lyrics are just bitching about nothing. Pussy metal appeals to whiny teenagers who are trying to feel edgy or badass.
