Superman Complex

The Superman Complex is actually a psychological state in which one has the belief that "nothing bad can happen to me".
As if THEY will never be the one to get in a car crash, or THEY'LL never overdose on a drug.
Common among teens and children.
The complex can vary from minor to severe.

As if he had a Superman complex, Jason would always pull the wildest stunts.

Boxxy Complex

Having multiple friend requests on any social networking site from people you don't know. Like boxxy, who had fans/haters constantly friend requesting her on myspace and gaia until she left.

Who are all these people from Germany saying they know me? I'm part of a Boxxy Complex!

God Complex.

Having a “God Complex” mindset basically means you think EXTREMELY highly of your self. You think your the “chosen one” and you are superior to other and everyone else is below you.

You can use the character Light Yagami from Death Note as an example. He’s an great example for the term God Complex.

Terminal complexity

The maximum attainable level of complexity of a system, device, etc.

Any attempt to increase complexity after this level is reached results in a partial or complete destruction of the system.

Our software, apparently, reached terminal complexity - every time we try to add a new feature, everything breaks.

Romeo Complex

When a boy has an ulhealty obsession for someone he knows he can't be with or who does not love him back. Taken from the book Romeo and Juliet due tot eh rivalries between the two families.

Someone who believes and takes on others ethnicity or ethnicities as their own. Similar to cultural appropriation.

That white boy with cornrows has an ethnicity complex.

Barney Complex

The Barney complex refers to people who have an undeserved sense of privilege and overly inflated ego and have nothing to back it up. It all goes back to that purple dinosaur we all watched on PBS as kids. Everyday he told everyone that you're special, and that Sally was special. and that Sam was also special. Well kids, lets face it....we're not all special. Get over yourself.

Sally is complaining about being under appreciated at work again, I wish she'd get over her Barney complex and just do her work.
