doing a rose

when you are taking up a whole seat for example, and won't move up to let somebody share it with you, much like rose on the titanic when she doesn't move up to let jack on the floating door, resulting in his death. BOOO ROSE!

(when someone is sprawled out, taking up loads of room on a couch,) "oh come on budge up a bit, don't do a rose!"
OR
i couldn't sleep last night because (insert name of person sharing a bed with) was doing a rose!

Do it for the vine

When someone has a sort of special talent or party trick, and you ask them to do it so you can capture it on camera.

Person 1: I can’t do it right now, man.
Person 2: Come on dude, do it for the vine!

Doing a Lynndie

The act of pointing and laughing at an unaware victim while holding a cigarette half-cocked in you mouth and being photographed. Much like lynndie England.

When we were in Louisanna, I found a drunk guy, we got a camera and Did a Lynndie.

To do a Geddi

We are a fairly large group of friends from Bergen, Norway and this expression was born when a friend of our started with some strange behaviour. When we were hanging out he suddenly just left and did not return for several hours. The strange thing about it was that he acted like nothing had happen. This happened from time to time for a few years, and to this day we still have no clue what he did or where he was. From that day the expression has grown from our little click to become a more or less common word in our city amoung the youth.

1) If you cant get hold of someone for some time he has "done a Geddi"

2) If you have a conversation with someone on icq or MSN and they suddenly stop replying, they have "done a Geddi" i.e. "He did a geddi on me"
