A code originating out of the Lancaster, Ohio area since the summer of 2014 for smoking leaf. Often used as a slick innuendo for when to light up when persons of authority are around.
Mike: "Hey, later tonight we'll be talking to George. You got any questions for him?"
Brian: "Nah man, I just talked to him this morning."
When you see foreign text but your browser does not have that character/font encoding, so instead of seeing Chinese/Sanskrit/Russian characters, all you see are squares.
To best handle this situation, just type squares back from your side of the conversation/forum/etc.
