feeder band

Used mostly in the southeastern states
n. Refers to any of the few spurts of ejaculation on a woman's back, perferably the farthest one away from the source.
-called "feeder bands" because of its resemblance to large bands of rain associated with a hurricane.

I was doggystylin' Katrina last night and I left multiple feeder bands on her back...sweet!!

chick band

A musical group consisting of females, or mostly females. A chick bands can only play rock music, if not, it's not a chick band.

Here are some chick band traits:
Their hair is usually messy. This is to insure that they are tough.
They wish they had a rough life. Most of the time they don't. (They usually say something like: their father left them when they were little girls).
They often complain about sexism. The real reason they get little respect is because they're not talented in the first place.
These bands usually play Fender and Gibson guitars, mostly playing power chords.
Chick bands write "THEIR OWN SONGS", and sometimes cover "A FUCKING GOOD SONG". Sometimes by Kiss, Nirvana, or Guns n' Roses. The chick bands' write about their "boyfriend dumping them", "them dumping their boyfriend", and "partying all night". Maybe even about someone else, overdosing on painkillers.
The singer cannot reach a higher/lower note than their talking voice. Sometimes the singer also plays guitar at the same time.
The chicks in the band are usually butch.

Lillix and The Donnas are chick bands. Hole is not quite a chick band. Avril Lavinge has a chick band, even though she's the only chick in it.

Band of Brothers

A miniseries about Easy Company, Fifth Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division 'Screaming Eagles'. The name 'Band of brothers' came from a quote from a Shakespeare play, Henry V.
Google Saint Crispen's Day Speech for more information.

Quote from St. Crispen's Day Speech:
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother

tribute band

An abomination that tries to look cool by playing songs from other bands (e.g. AC/DC, Def Leppard) that will always be infinitely better than said tribute band. Often found on iTunes, which uses such bands in a feeble attempt to appease the masses who want the real deal.

Some albums are excpetionally idiotic because they change the genre, usually if the group the band is trying to copy is a rock band. Hayseed and hip-hop tributes are two noted examples.

rockjunkie1: Oh man, I can't believe I just wasted $9.99 like that...
rockjunkie2: What happened?
rockjunkie1: I bought what I thought was an AC/DC album on iTunes, but it turned out to be a tribute band.
rockjunkie2: Ouch
