Refers to respect you get from metalheads e.g. for playing a good song, or wearing a a band shirt for a good band.
I suppose we could play that Joe Satriani song at the gig, but I reckon we'd get more metal points if we played Pantera.
Black Metalers listen to Black Metal Music such as Mayhem, Burzum, Dimmu Borgir (Old), Darkthrone and so on. They normally wear black clothes, band or Satanic T-Shirts, pentacle jewelery etc... And not all Black Metalers only listen to Black Metal. And anyone that calls Cradle of Filth Black Metal are faggots because they are fucking not!
In most shit countrys that know nothing, many people mistake Black Metalers for Goths which is a big insult! A Goth is someone that usually listens to Gothic Rock, A Black Metaler is someone that usually listens to fucking Christraping Black Metal!

A block of "heavy metal" videos played on Vh1 classic on Monday, Friday and Saturday. Heavy metal is in quotes since, regardless of the name, they tend to play too much glam music, thinking it's heavy metal, and not enough true heavy metal music. Seemingly getting worse.

Just like Black Metal songs which contain lyrical references to satanist views, armageddon and darkness, Brown Metal focuses primarily on that of fecal matter. Artists of Brown Metal encourage their fans to defecate in the mosh pit at their live shows.
Brown Metal is also known as Fecal Rock to those who are apposed to the genre.

An intense and brutal type of music that has an "aquired" ear. Once you've listened, and enjoyed what you've heard, there is no stepping down from the grip of the brutality that is called death metal. Death Metal is greatly discriminated against in most situations, but have probably the most talented musicians in the music scene. The lyrics are filled with disturbing thoughts and beliefs, which may not be acceptable to some people. People who live and greatly respect this type of music (including all types of metal) have earned the name metalhead. Go and ask your metal lover at school or work about it and they will give you a nice, informative responce. I hope this helped inform you of this great genre of music. Go out and buy some metal CD's.
