a derogatory term used when someone or some place (such as a café) affects a hip exterior but, in essence, is nothing but that exterior.

Sounds like "I'm okay", means I am not okay but I am faking it.

It's 2020 and your friend asks how you are doing.
Rather than explain the dumpster fire of anxiety, simply say "I'm faux k" and carry on.
