Love is not an emotion but a chemical in your brain. The chemical is in pretty much all beings. It is the mating chemical. Love is only a sex drive. When you see someone and it's "love at first sight" its really your brain saying "i want to mate with this person". just like dogs, spiders, zebras, etc. The only purpose we have in his world is to reproduce. Love is not real.
That's what my english teacher says.

<josh> sorry i dont want to mate with you. my sex drive chemical isnt telling me to reproduce with you.

Love is when you can not imagine your life without the other person. When something you never knew you were missing comes and fills a void you never knew you had. It's like seeing through glasses and clearing your vision of the world when you never even knew anything was fuzzy.
It's when that person is the only reason you live. When the only time your heart is really beating is when you are thinking of them. When the only time your lungs seem to work is when you are with them. Love is that feeling of rightness and wholeness that you get every time you hear their name.
Love is when you finally find the person you are meant to be with, not the person that comes close enough. When the numbers stop adding up wrong. Love is when you find that person that makes one plus one finally equal two.
Not love: 1 + 1 = 1 1/2
Love: 1 + 1 = 2
Untimately, true love is: 1 + 1 = <3

It can begin with attraction (some call this 'love at first sight') or the very first kiss.
However the end result is always unpredictable... Pain, confusion, emptiness, hope, divorce, hate unfortunatly very rarely happiness. Some say their grandparents are prime examples of true love as they have managed to stay together for so long. But... were they truely happy or did lazyness prevent them from seeking greater fortunes.
If you truely love someone why would you cheat on them, when you know if they found out they would be totally hurt. When you love someone surely they should be able to satisfy your needs without you having to go elsewhere.

We cannot possibly define love as we all experience it differently
With all the negativity that goes on in the world today i'd be surprised if love, in its purest form even still exists.
I know i TRUELY love my mother, father, three sisters, two brothers and my closest friends.
One time i thought i was in love with this boy. i don't know if he truely loved me back. Real love is double sided...They have to feel it to for it to grow.

When you like something, but your not super passionate about it. Usually said when your referring to something someone said or an action someone did. Can also be used in a sarcastic way… when your trying to be passive aggressive.

This word can be described by a girl who happens to brush by in life and you just STOP. Your mind freezes, your heart skips a beat or two, and your soul has found its meaning. Inside, you want to cry. Not out of the strangeness you're experiencing, but out of this newfound emotion of true happiness. There's nothing more beautiful in the world that her. Yet, you don't know who the hell that girl is... but feel hellbent to entwine your soul with hers.

That tingly feeling you get when you look into someone's eyes. When you melt every time they look at you. How you lie awake thinking about them; about the sparkles in their eyes, how soft their lips are, their sweet laugh, their sense of humor, everything. It's when you know that they're one of the things you wake up for in the morning. It's just the thing you can't help but feel for them.
I love you. I always have, always will.
