emo band

A group of emos who write and sing about love, not your pop 'love', but real love, break ups, depression. All the stuff everyone encounters in their life at one point.

A few people i know are in emo bands. They love the music and keeping the lyrics real. They sing about their experiences so others can relate. Also to rock out to!

Girl - Well of course, she's a Band Geek.

shag bands

braclet thingies. they can be any colour ever, and also metallic, sparkly, neon, etc.

emos use them to hide the slits that they have made in their wrists. which i think is wierd...

the 'tradition' thing goin' on is that if someone snaps one of your shag bands, well, then you have to fuck them.

ps. shag bands are v. hard to snap...

(sign on bucket of shag bands in quiggins/afflecks palace/morgana)

hair band

n., adj., A rock band from the eighties whose members had long hair, which they teased up with hair-spray to make themselves out to be rebels and distinctive. The music tried to be hard and badass, but was harmless. This is sometimes used as a disparaging description, much like boy band is used today.

Some people classify Motley Crue as Metal, well no offense, but they are really just a Hair Band.
