short for Bluetooth which is short distance data transmission protocol. BT started to become popular in America towards the middle of 2004 in the form of wireless headsets for mobile phones. Many of BT's functions are unknown to most users. BT can support voice and data, allowing it to support services such as File Push, Network Access, Imaging Services, etc.
I'm using BT to download the pics that I just took on my phone.
