look-alike

n. The phrase used in college for a person who looks like someone you knew in high school. It is often a sign of needing to get over the fact that one is in college now.

Friend 1- "Whoa! There is Jenna's look-alike!"

Friend 2- "Yeah I guess it does look like her, but we're in college now bro. It's time to move on."

Not bad looking

Ugly; Term is often used by people as to not hurt the feelings of the person they are talking about; term usually is used by females to describe males they are talking about, but can be used to describe females as well. Males rarely use this term to describe other males.

Example 1: (Sam talking to his female friend, Alicia about a girl he likes)

Sam: I asked a girl out to lunch today, but she hasn't gotten back with me like she said she would. Maybe she thinks I'm ugly and doesn't like me.

Alicia: You're not ugly; I saw your picture and you're not bad looking.

What Alicia is really trying to say is that her friend Sam IS ugly, but doesn't want to hurt his feelings.

Example 2: (Steve and Mike talking)

Steve: Hey Mike, some girl told me I'm not bad looking today. Does you think she likes me?

Mike: Hell no dude give it up, she thinks you're ugly!

looking forward

"Looking forward" and "going forward" are annoying expressions that mean "in the future". They have been in universal use for years in corporate America and came about for legal reasons. Companies are held liable by the Securities and Exchange Commission for any statements or predictions made about the future. They can be sued by investors if they make a statement about the future and it does not come true. The word "future" was therefore completely erased from the corporate vocabulary and replaced by "looking forward" and "going forward". These annoying terms are used constantly to qualify almost every statement made in order to avoid legal liability. In corporate America today, the word "future" NEVER comes out of the mouth of any corporate officer or anyone who makes official statements to the public (if he or she expects to keep their job).

Looking forward, sales of the company are expected to increase in the first quarter.

Look at the Rabbits

Reference to "Of Mice and Men", namely the ending where George tells Lennie to look at the rabbits so he can shoot Lennie while he's not looking. Basically means the same thing as go play in traffic; go jump off a cliff, die, etc. in addition to calling the person a retard. Could also be interpreted as a threat.

What do you mean you did my girlfriend?! That's it, look at the rabbits, bitch...
