The Apple iPod Touch 3rd Generation was the successor of the iPod Touch 2nd Generation, and is the predecessor of the iPod Touch 4th Generation. It looks very similar to the iPod Touch 2nd gen. physically, but with several hardware changes. It has a display resolution of 320x480 pixels at 163 PPI, uses a 3.7v, 789 mAh Lithium-Ion battery, and is available in a choice of 32 and 64 GB. The latest iOS update for this iPod Touch is iOS 5.1.1.
The iPod Touch 3rd Generation is a great improvement from the iPod Touch 2nd gen., as the 3rd gen. supports OpenGL 2.0, a faster CPU, and twice the RAM.

The last good nano; ever since the sixth one came out (useless piece of shit), I'm thankful to have kept my 5th gen. with video.

When you're driving thru no-man's land with your earbuds in your ears listening to your iPod, while at the same time your ears are popping because of the air pressure and it feels very awkward and makes it hard to hear the music.
I was driving through Pennsylvania and i experienced Awkward Ear-Popping iPod Syndrome, so i couldn't even hear my Paramore music because my ears were popping so much.
