Telling someone to hop off em means to "get off my back" or "stop being annoying"

Could be used after completing the task that person was annoying you about

A phrase synonymous with "ENGAGE." Used to command those with potential energy to exert their energies, i.e. going to maximum afterburners, opening fire, going to 7K rpm.

A succinct phrase which is akin to saying "give it everything you've got"

Cpt. Freeman: "LIGHT 'EM UP"

Mostly issued when the person to do the informing is in fact already engaged in this activity, or is known for such, as an acknowledgment of this tendency and positive reinforcement of it.
