yuppie hell

What happens when your town is legislated to build condos.

Guelph used to be full of characters but they were all arrested and shoo'd away to maintain the purity of the blossoming yuppie hell.

hell of a heck

What you feel like after you've been greatly disappointed.

So we went to the restaurant after the glowing review in the newspaper and found the beef stringy, the corn soggy, there was a piece of pumpkin pie on the floor under the table, there was a crying baby across the way, somebody was smoking a cigarette in the corner, the waitress dumped a plate of chocolate pie of my head. On the way home, Dad commented, "Well that was a hell of a heck."

dongle hell

Dongle Hell is a special type of hell. It is a place where owners of modern apple electronics (Macbook 2017+, iPhone 7+) go to suffer for the rest of eternity to deal with dongles and a multitude of connectors & cables. Due to Apple's lack of physical ports for connections that are still very popular at the time of this writing, June 2017, users are forced to buy dongles and/or cables in order to use their connections that Apple apparently considers "legacy." Dongle hell could entail dongles for aux ports, USB 3.0 and below, SD card slot, HDMI and more.

You got the new Macbook Pro? How's dongle hell been treating you?

hot as hell

This phrase can be used in reference in two different instances.

1.) To refer to the temperature at present. Saying that "it is hot as hell" is to over embellish the current temperature by comparing it to that of hell itself (which would be unimaginable heat)

2.) No comment on the origin of the second instance of the phrase. The meaning is simply in reference to an incredibly attractive man or a woman.

1.) Can someone turn the air conditioner on? It's hot as hell in here.

2.) Did you see that chick over there? She's hot as hell!

Baron of Hell

A lowly boss in the original Doom games by id games, the first Baron of Hell was not seen until the last level of the first episode of the first game. On this level, a shocking two Barons appeared, as well as an army of spectres (invisible demons that could bring down health levels fast). The Barons of Hell were enormous, could take more punishment than you could dish out, and fired extremely powerful green magical attacks with 100% accuracy. Fortunately, these energy blasts were slow and easy to avoid, and it's the only kind of attack the Barons knew. Later in the game, they became common enemies, attacking along with entire armies of monsters all at once.

The Barons of Hell should have been included in Doom 3, but were replaced by HellKnights, which were also seen in Doom 2.

Mainstream Hell

Where bad music spawns out and eats away at the minds of stupid children like ants swarming on a dead cow. It can also be compared to a dangerous drug.

It is a dark age for music. Sadly.
