Don't Bring The Brullox If You Can't Handle The Rullex

When a "self-proclaimed rapper" gets high, then pissed off and tries to rhyme the words "brawl" and "ruckus," the words must be changed into words that don't exist, thus, "Don't bring the brawl if you can't handle the ruckus" becomes "Don't bring the brullox if you can't handle the rullex."

"Don't bring the brullox if you can't handle the rullex."

Jet fuel can't melt through steel beams!

1. When you are arguing with someone who has a seemingly air-tight argument and you blow a load of philological wisdom into his argument.

2. any kind of come back.

3. A literary ejaculation

Joe: 9/11 was clearly the work of Osama bin Laden (and proceeds to show you undeniable proof) Zack: Oh Yeah, well Jet fuel can't melt through steel beams!

Pat: WTF you ate all of my Nutella!

Asshole who ate his Nutella: WTF dude, Jet fuel can't melt through steel beams ergo I did not eat your Nutella

Chemistry teacher: Mr. Erickson will you please tell the class why covalent bonding is different than ionic bonding.

Andrew: Uh because Jet fuel can't melt through steel beams.

We can't just make someone else's fish!

(noun): A saying dating back to medieval Europe (apx 1100 C.E.). Originally meant to denote one fishmonger's unwillingness to copy his competitor's sign (and thus claim that he sold the same kind of fish), the saying has come to refer to any general unwillingness to copy someone else's work, specifically when requested to do so by a customer.

"I was wondering if you could make me some copies of this licensed product."
"Sorry but they own the rights to it. We can't just make someone else's fish!"

"you can't have your cake and eat it too"

You can't keep your old love while trying out a new one.

"you can't have your cake and eat it too" trying to hold onto something - an uncut cake - while enjoying eating it.

If you can't soar with the Eagles, don't fly with the flock

If you can't soar with the Eagles, don't fly with the flock

The complete opposite of if you can't beat them, join them
It means if you can't be the best then you may as well be nothing at all.

person 1: I gave into peer pressure last night and tried crystal math
person 2: If you can't soar with the Eagles, don't fly with the flock
person 1: oh.
