Panic Maven

A person who gets paranoid about something without a legitimate reason.

Person #1: What took you so long? I thought you just went to put something in your Aunt's van.

Person #2: My Aunt is a real panic maven. She didn't believe me when I said I locked her van, so she made me go back and re-check to make sure it's locked.

calm panic

When you one is panicking inwardly but they are forcing themselves to remain calm and rationalize.

An example of calm panic would be having to give someone cpr— you would be panicking, yes, but you would force yourself to stay calm and use your brain over your emotions

Panic lurk

This is when you’re in a ZOOM/video meeting with people you don’t know well (usually during a pandemic) and you’re bored so you want to leave. You don’t really know how to exit gracefully, so you get all anxious and continue to hang out: the “panic lurk”.

My friend just had a Zoom Bday party and I didn’t know anyone.

I was bored and wanted to go, but didn’t want to offend her so I just panic lurked.

When the Satanists panic and start throwing everything against the wall in order to try to distract and cause chaos because somebody somewhere took away something sacred to them.
