The other definition is utterly wrong. Here is a correct interpretation of a prep guy.
1. During the summer he is found in Nantucket or the Vineyard.
2. He wears Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, LL Bean, J Crew etc.
3. He wears mocs and beige trousers and pastel-colored poloshirts.
4. He's educated. Few are jerks. He's cultured.
He DOESN'T wear A&F, AE, Hollister, Old Navy, Aeropostale or any of those other "mall" stores
A prep guy isn't the jock who dates "cheerleaders" in high
school... he goes to a prep school in new england (Deerfield, Choate, Hotchkinss...etc.)

Fairfield College Preparatory School is an all boys prep school in fairfield Ct. It is a great school academically, with very good and competitive hockey, lax, golf, rugby, crew, tennis, and more. It has a strong curriculum and sends students of to top universities and colleges. It is trully a new england prep school on Fairfield Universities campus with use of its classes and facilties. Prep has a 200 acre campus and can match any of the boarding schools. They draw kids from old saybrook to manhattan and all ponits between east or west. It is a Jesuit school and is the only catholic prep school in Ct.
Fairfield Prep won the hockey chapionship.

Crazy Prep School that prepares the paragon knights for high school, where kids actually like to learn and get extra credit for insulting teachers in Shakespearean, and get free slurpees, paint the latin room, clone things, sell stuff, write on windows and make things explode. and rename everything with the prefix para
