A pair of socks that go up to the mid calf. Commonly used by sports, but most importantly by rowers. When you row there's a grand possibility of getting calf bites, so wearing a sock named after your sport comes in hand.
I can't wait for the crew bonfire, we are all tie dying our crew socks that came in the spirit pack.

a haircut that's 1 inch or less away from the scalp.
one variation is an all around cut which gives a round look. the other refered to as a buzz cut gives a flat top look with shaven sides.
