Someone who feels to bring up how they're "ugly," or "fat" in every single conversation so that people will disagree and compliment them.
Example:
Bella: *is literally 98 pounds*
"I'm so fat!"
Shawn: "No, you're not!"
Bella: "Yes, I am! I'm so fat and ugly!"
Shawn: "Ya know what bitch? I don't give a flying fuck. You are fat and ugly then. Shut the fuck up and stop fishing for compliments."

When some jackass is too afraid to say how they feel about somebody,so they use urban dictionary to do it without anyone knowing they said it.
An example of an indirect compliment would be:

The sweetest guy you will ever meet who is full of love and blah blah blah lots of random biased feelings about their imaginary boyfriend.
Seriously, if you right something like this on urban dictionary, then you are sad and pathetic.

When a group of women, often with mediocre looks, excessively compliment one another in a public arena in the hope of elevating their collective presteige in the eyes of onlookers. Compliment orgies usually manifest themselves in Facebook photo comments where one woman uploads a photo, and her friends reply "so pretty!!", "super like", "you look wow!"
The demographic is usually female teens or young female adults who do not have children, and regard others' perception of them as their life's purpose. Occasionally young adult males, feeling left out, attempt to replicate this apparent camraderie. However, the male recipient does not reciporicate because he does not understand the concept of a compliment orgy, while the female recipient feels that responding with anything more than a superficial "thank you" diminishes the elevated image she is building.

Male: (silently thinks) Yet another compliment orgy.
Post or thread on social media created solely to garner positive attention and validation. Often these "compliment farms" will pose under the guise of vulnerable or marginalized individuals seeking help or support. These "compliment farmers" will pretend to suffer from real issues or dilemmas, such as body dysmorphic disorder, to inspire agreements, head pats (and OF link views) from their audience.
Q: "Awww man this girl posted in /r/amiugly and she is maybe a 10/10. Isn't that sad?"
A: "Its probably a compliment farm - look at her post history."
Q: "Yea, im seeing some thirstrappyness here. Belongs in /r/ValidateMe"
A special occurrence, happening once a week on Saturday, where friends and colleagues exchange and receive expertly crafted compliments regarding their recent or historic accomplishments, virtues, personality, or general demeanor.
Last Compliment Saturday, Jeff told me I had exquisite taste for the fine wines and that my hair piece suits me well.

The use of strategically placed compliments to buffer an otherwise abrasive remark. These compliments should surround the unpleasant remark, preventing the recipient of the compliment sandwich from becoming insulted.
"Hey, congrats on the new car it looks great! We should defintely joy ride this weekend! Maybe I could get that 10 dollars you owe me while were at it! You're gonna look so cool in this car I can feel it!"
"I just wanna thank everyone for the great effort they put in last saturday to really make things a success. Please stop parking in the faculty lot, or you will be fired. Also, I would like to say you're all doing a phenomenal job so far this year!"
"whoa... I should feel insulted right now... did I just get a compliment sandwich?"
