A Fail Guild is an association of people under a "Guild Tag" in the game World of Warcraft that contains players of a disreputable sort. To qualify as a "fail guild," a guild must first be very badly behaved (publicly racist or homophobic), have members that have ninja'd a guild bank on another server, and all members must be defensive and condone their other members' asshat behavior. No amount of epics, raid progression, or well spoken players in a guild can remove the stain of asshatery that denotes a guild to "fail".

A series of Google Groups and Forums started way back in 2005. They currently reside at http://procrastination.ipbfree.com/ , although the forum is largely dead, do to a move from a different forum hoster that didn't go over well.
The Procrastination Guild's many achievements include a gift shop, and the critically acclaimed title of "The Greatest Thing To Ever Happen, Ever".

1) A pathetic clan on TAO that wants to become no. 1, but is to powerhungry to do so. Picks on noobs all the time since they fear that people will find out that they really do suck.
