A type of relationship which is mostly used to define a kink or a fetish of being used and ordered as a pet. Or, in BDSM it's usually discribing a sub who wants to take orders from a master. A Master/pet relationship generally a more affectionate or loving than a Master/slave relationship. When being a pet, you usually roleplay as an animal such as a dog or a cat, and you eat from a doggie bowl/cat bowl on the floor, no hands, and is used as a sextoy, a playmate, or as a maid.
Ethan : "Aye dude how did the date go?"
Joe : "It was alright, I wanted to do her but she was into master/pet stuff."
Ethan : "Mind if I have her number..?"

Trixie thought she had been good all year and asked Santa Claus to bring her a puppy for Christmas, but when she woke up Christmas morning and looked in her stocking, all she found was a lump of coal, which she later named Pepper and he became her Pet Coal. She marketed the idea and made a million dollars the following year.

An annoying student who kisses up to the teacher and does a bunch of favors for said teacher in hopes of getting a good grade. The kind of student who raises his hand for every single question and buys expensive gifts for their teacher. This student thinks they are superior to their peers because they are the teacher's favorite and therefore they bosses everyone around. They will also tattle on their peers for insignificant rules they might break.
*Normal Student eating an apple, not causing harm to anybody*
Teacher's Pet: "Teacher! Oh teacher! There's someone eating an apple in the classroom! That's against the rules!"
Teacher: "Thank you for telling me. *scolds Normal Student*
Normal Student: "Wow, thanks a lot man. What the hell did I ever do to you?"

Something that is maybe a bit annoying to most people but is very annoying or upsetting to a particular person.
Related to the word peeve meaning an annoyance or grievance, a pet peeve is something that a person has adopted(like a pet) to be extra annoying or upsetting to them. Like a pet, they pay a lot of attention to this peeve and may talk about it a lot and share funny pictures of it on the internet.
I know we aren't supposed to put fake names on the forms, but it's a real pet peeve of Rachel's, so make extra sure she doesn't catch you.
Tim: Why do the checkout clerks have to be so stupid?
Irene: I admit the conversation wasn't sparkling, but we got checked out quickly and efficiently, that's all that matters.
Tim: grr, I guess stupid people are just a pet peeve of mine.

Generally used in intimate relationships in place of names. The names are usually thought of based on experience of the relationship.
Some people particularly dislike Pet Names, and simply wish not to referred to with one, as it may seem demeaning.
Common Pet Names include: Babe, Sweetie, Honey (or Hon’), Sweetheart, and Dear.
Jesse and Victoria have started using pet names on each other, it’s so adorable!
