Deliberately and secretly disadvantaging someone in some way in the workplace. For example, overloading them with work, denying them training opportunities or spreading gossip about them.
Originated in Australia - New Zealand and derived from the practice of adding weights to the saddle of a race horse to handicap it and slow it down.

A phrase that originated on the west coast, meaning if you say something dumb, if someone calls "put your neck down," you must put your neck down in order to get slapped on the neck by the crew.
"Okay, let's walk to the store"
"How are we getting there?"
"Put your neck down, walking"

It's another way to tell someone, out of anger, that you will put them in their grave, or 6 feet under if they screw with you again. It's a less direct way of stating it but still gets the point across.
After someone has double crossed or otherwise angered you: "Bitch, if you weren't somebody's mother, I'd put your ass to sleep!"
