A species of animal that roamed all the way back in the Cretaceous Era. Their bodies were only 6-ft long and around 3-ft tall, but I’m leaning more towards Michael Crichton’s and Steven Spielberg’s raptors. These were intelligent pack hunters, able to communicate with each other via vocal commands like a bark or a trill. They had a long sharp dagger of a claw on their middle toe that they used to pry their catch open.
Alan: “Remember, you’re still alive when they (velociraptors) start to eat you.”

Notable features of most JP Velociraptors include having few or no feathers, pronated hands, being bizarrely large for Velociraptor, slit crocodilian eyes, and an inaccurate skull shape.
