A person will try something, get it wrong, learn from the mistakes, try again, and hopefully eventually get it right.

Many great ideas and inventions were devised through the process of trial and error.

Through trial and error, I finally figured out how to fix that sticky door handle.

The cause of any unexpected and undesired outcome. Usually attributable to a fundamental lack of understanding of the underlying situation. Most logic errors are minor logic errors.

wookie error

similair to the term 'rookie error', can be used to described when someone stuffs up a star wars joke/reference.

peter: "yeah man, this kid thought chewbacca was c3p0, like what the heck?"

Terse, baffling remark used by programmers to place blame on users for the program's shortcomings.

Error 220

Error 220, which was named Error 219 before it, is the name of a computer virus in the Regular Show episode "Skips vs. Technology".

Techmo: This is the worst error 220 I've ever seen. I've got no choice - I'm jacking in.
Skips: Are you sure we just can't smash it?

Error Reporting

A new thing in Windows XP for the user to have the option of sending in the error to Microsoft. It is said to be useless and annoying, but in future years(3-5) Theres errors will be programmed and used to help...but they have no effect on the programs right now.

To disable these annoying things, go to Control Panal>Performance and Maintenance>System>Advanced>Error Reporting>Check 'Disable error reporting.'

Or you may just right click the My Computer icon and go to Properties>Advanced>Error Reporting>Disable
