When someone does something out of curiosity but it annoys you.
Guy 1 "I tried shaving my ass.."
Guy 2 "You're such a ponderous potato!"
A reference to goofy wizards who would sit for hours gazing upon an inanimate object, likely an orb. The phrase "pondering the orb" has emerged as common slag used to refer to someone doing something pretentiously important.
I am coming at your place. You better not be *pondering the orb*

A method of thoroughly contemplating a concept without the assistance of digital references.
I wonder if corn on the cob is considered a fruit or vegetable. Guess I’ll have to 80’s ponder it.
It basically means no. But the person pondering wants you think think they’ll say yes. But really they’re saying no.
Q: Want to hang out this weekend?
A: let me ponder the thought.

Something you say when you realise you've said something really stupid, usually in an argument, in order to try and save face and make out that what you said is in fact obscurely witty.
Person one: Lol fag!
