SRS is the abbreviation of short reply syndrome.
Commonly used to highlight occasions, when mammoth emails/facebook comments/ texts etc. are sent and a one line/one word reply is received
Kate: Omg dakota i sent you a 3 page email and you replied "Kk sounds good, haha cool"
Dakota: sorry must be a case of SRS

Typically used in today's working environment - sudden responsibility syndrome (or SRS) is defined when a co-worker, usually a manager, deems that you are now responsible for work that was previously theirs to do.
Sometimes, the reasoning for delegating the work is legitimate, but it's often simply because the co-worker/manager is a lazy asswipe.
Manager: "Hey Ron, I'm gonna need you to take over the filing of the weekly error reports from now on, OK?"
Ron: "I guess, but I'm already working late most nights just trying to keep up with my regular workload. Did you just get some new contracts that are going to burden you or something?"
Manager: "Oh good Lord no...the boss wants to take me golfing on Wednesday mornings. Oh, that reminds me, I'll also need you to cover all of my phone calls and emails during that time as well"
Justin (to Ron): "Damn dude, looks like you just got a bad case of SRS"

This was a game that came out to rival Need for Speed Underground 1. It came out a little too late - about the same time as Need for Speed Underground 2. SRS is better than NFSU 1 but not NFSU 2. SRS is the only game to actually have realistic exhaust systems, unlike the "tips" in NFSU games (the only problem is that the sound of the car never changes). Another major difference with SRS is the realistic damage. There are not many games that you have to take your car back to the shop to fix. Some find this irritating and some love the realism.
To challenge the NFSU series again, SRS 2 is supposedly in the making.
- "Can you believe a got a copy of SRS for only 20 bucks?"
- "Yeah, that game was too little too late."
