Vibe

Most use as an adj. or noun. but in the common music industry to "vibe" is to feel the music and have insight to it. This normally involves swaying of body and head, or bobbing and ferocious nodding of 'noggin.

In some cases, extreme vibing will substitute vision with delicious colours and replace motor cells with ecstatic feelings.

Imma pop in this record and just vibe to it.

Not the vibes

When someone or something isn’t vibing bro. Just isn’t. It’s more of a phrase, but at this point it’s a word now.

Something that doesn’t pass the vibe check.

According to Mashable, the word “ originated on Tumblr, where @grisaster combined the YouTube audio with a snippet from the video game Skyrim.” So yeah.

Someone if mean to someone else. You: It’s not the vibes! Don’t do that!
You’re gonna say it for the trend. No example needed.
Or you just say it out of irony. Again, no example needed.
You see someone straight up being weird, and (not in a rude or hurtful way) you say it’s not the vibes.
