Single shaming

Spreading destructive gossip and slander about people, especially guys, that are single. Alienating and isolating guys that are single that either have chosen to remain single or simply can't get any dates due to a toxic social atmosphere and/or lack of quality women. Getting single guys in trouble for mingling.

The single guy was excluded from the group because he was single. He was a victim of single shaming. The single man's ban from the club was a form of single shaming.

up shame

V. the combination of shaming and up selling. Up shaming happens when you are pressured by a retailer to make a purchase greater than you need, want or perhaps can afford because it is offered at a perceived discounted rate only slightly higher than the size you initially planned to purchase.

I got up shamed at the local drugstore when the soda jerk convinced me to buy the bigger sized drink for only ten cents more.

Shameful bias

When the Editors of Urban Dictionary quickly publish a word (binders of women) that makes Mitt Romney look unfavorable but choose not to publish one that President Obama actually said. (not optimal)

Urban Dictionary would not publish my word because it made a democrat look bad but published a word that made a republican look bad just two earlier. What Shameful Bias

burp shame

When an individual burps loudly in public, and someone in close proximity takes offense. They may react in a number of ways, including: lectures, dirty looks, gasping, or nose upturning. It is only burp shame however if the individual who belches feels remorse.

"Man, Dave belched really loud in the middle of the mall and some old lady tried to give him the burp shame."

Shaming the Pipe

Talking dirty to your penis while beating it like it owes you money.

My boss caught be "shaming the Pipe" in the bathroom. I called it a "Thorin Dickenshield, the adventurous dwarf"

Virus shamed

A vibrant effort to keep people away due to COVID-19.

My sister was supposed to come visit from LA but my brother virus shamed her and she cancelled her plans.

Shame Guard

The piece of plastic/wood that separates urinals in nicer bathrooms.

I was grateful for the shame guard.
