Dink

Is an acronym for Dual Income No Kids. An initially self-complimentary term used by couples (married or unmarried) of child-rearing age; who receive sizeable incomes from their respective employers. Instead of sacrificing their time and money on a new generation, they flaunt their ability to live like eternal adolescents..

Mary (sipping a Mimosa): Joe and I are dinks! We were at Le Bain until 5am. We don't have to worry about bringing kids to school in the morning and can sleep in because Sunday brunch runs late!

Mary (in her 70's in hospice): I'm a Sink...Joe died last year, and I have nobody to visit me. All of my money and properties will end up in probate, and get dispersed to different government entities.

DINK

Acronym: Dual Income, No Kids

They go married and don’t want kids because “kids are too high maintenance and are another form of tax” on their money. They got that dink energy in them.
