originated between the `60s and `70s(so its not true that blink is the father of all punks,what the fuck?who would beleive that,posers surely!oh my god thats bad,bullshit!),a trendie,a a puss brained bastard,well maybe the spirit of the real punks are dead,there`s still some great punk bands out there like rancid,bad religion and NOFX.well ders so many poers out there,yeah and they are the kids between the ages of 12-20,and they will not know what punk trully means untill they get older.
a good example of a trendie is a person who calls his fellow a person a poser,there`s so many reason why he called him a poser,for example his jealous because the fellow wears shit and stuffs and shit and he really looks like a punk than him,so he call him a poser cause he`s jealous,what a pity!well maybe theres no more real punks out here(but maybe only a few left)until the late `90s,what is left are offsprings,it transformed and mixed with other genres,just like humans,you cant go back to the time when people still wears formal clothings,go home early and have a sense of humor,so maybe its not dead because of fucking trendies,it just mutated to another(lets say version) of music(well not 100% punk,maybe 20% punk or less).there is no punkier than the other,its not a fashion,its a way of life,its a music written to the people who can see somethings wrong,I`ll mis those guys who made this wonderful shit,even though i`m not born by that time,let `em say what they wann say about you,live your life the way you want it,there is no boundaries just like punkrock,you dont have to put metal spike and shits on your body(well its not bad to wear those),its the way of living,its being active and being alert to whats happening around you,punk will always be punk,no matter where you mix it,where you put it,no matter what genre its in,its still punk(and so are mall punks,fucking trendies),dont be so stupid searching for old school punk bands to fit in,you know what i mean....no dress code,no music code,dressing like formal a geek doesnt mean youre not a punk,listening to other genres doesnt mean youre not a punk,and i believe to that when the time they attached the word rock to punk,thats when the time it died,(I`ve been trying to tell you the two`s not the same you sick bastards!) fuck you all!!!!

A paintball poser is someone who owns some gear, has played before, looks forward to playing again...but whose forum time far exceeds his playing time.
They check the forums every day, post on them often, even the forums which are unrelated to them (unrelated even within their local paintball sphere). Yet, they never make it out to practice, or even attend recreational games.
They could be active on the forums every day, but only play paintball 2 or 3 times a year. When anyone asks in public they will say "yeah I'm a huge paintballer!" and show off their gun/equipment whenever someone visits.
Angers real paintballers who bleed sweat and cry on the field 2 - 3 days a week playing their hearts out. The real player comes home to see on the forums that they're being flamed or given advice by some paintball poser, overgrown mamas boy. The real player plays 20x the paintball the poser does, and the poser makes 20x the forum posts a real player does. Who's playing what sport exactly?
Meanwhile all cries of "just 1on1 me on the field then poser" are met with ignorance or escapism, as they really have very little prowess on the field at all.

Some fake girl/boy goes on google or bing and searches "scene kids" or "emo people" and stuff like that. They study the culture so much they over do it. Somebody who goes around school always talking about how thier life sucks. Wears ALLL black and nothing else, listens to rock bands but dont like rock music, and everything else thats so freaking noticable to being a emo poser.

1:School girl - Hey (name), why are you always wearing black nd stuff?
Emo poser - Oh I didnt tell you? im going emo.
2: *facebook* The emo poser puts as his/her status "My life feakin sucks, I stepped in dog poop, by bf/gf broke up with me, and i got yelled at by my parents for printing out a whole bunch of pictures of my favorite bands. Im gonna go cut myself now. should i commit suicide??"

People who live on the island of Kauai and try way too hard to fit in with Kauai's social scene. This mostly includes extremely white people trying to speak pidgin when they moved here from Utah a year ago, representing west side, southside, etc. when you don't even live there, being a ninth grader and talking about nothing but getting stoned when everyone knows you've been chambered like once, and cruising in places where only locals should be cruising. These people are shunned and beat up in the back parkinglot of K-Mart.
Bob (white mormon freshman nug) shows up at shippies. He gets his ass kicked and thrown off the cliff. Bob is an example of "Kauai Posers".

Anyone who chooses to label themself as emo. Commonly used to refers to all middles schoolers with black hair that conveniently covers one eye. Note that all emos are indeed posers.
