Ping

ping is a word used by weirdos which means “no”, or you’re doing the most. (originated in Olney MD, Sherwood) Usually used before or after a phrase

“he still kept perusing her after she said no? ping, dawg”

Ping

In the state of Texas, another word for the rake in a poker game (money taken out of the pot each hand by a person or business running a poker game).

At Freerolls Poker Club we don’t take rake out of the pot. We take ping out of the pot instead, up to $15 per hand!

Ping

For example 300 ping = 0.3 Sec. delay. And maxium ping in Fortnite is 1080 Ping = 1.08 Sec. Delay.
Another example: Ping 2030 = 2.08 sec. delay. 6008 Ping = 6.008 Sec. Delay. 3487 Ping = 3.487 sec. delay.

If the ping is 100 ping = 0.1 sec. delay. And 1000 Ping is 1 sec. delay. And 10 ping is like 0.010 sec. Delay.

Ping DOSEN'T Give you lag. Because Ping is for Delay. Packet loss or slow download/upload will make you start lag. And then Ping increase. Because of Ping JUST GIVE you Delay. Understand?

Ping, JUST GIVES you delay!

Ping

In Warhammer: Age of Reckoning every Class has a Moral Ability which tosses the target a range* distance away from you.

This move is highly useful in Scenarios (Battlegrounds) with lava or drops in them which can kill players if you 'ping' them into it or for just tossing an enemy towards your allies.

The word 'Ping' comes from the concept of flicking the target given the average size of a players monitor making it seem as though you just flicked the target with a finger, "Ping!".

"So I pinged him into the lava and shot him with a snare so he couldn’t get out and died, lol."

ping

Send a very short electronic message to someone. Based on the ping network utility program that sends a small packet to a server across the network to see if it responds and is online.

If I'm in Detroit this summer I'll ping you.
