A phrase that describes something that is good, comparible with 'cool' or 'hip'.
The term was first coined by hardcore punk teenagers in the southwest of England during the first part of the new millenium who were tired of using outdated words used by 'scenesters' and 'topshop blands'.
The Sex is often used when referring to something with erotic conitations to add emphasis to the particular act or activity.
Other variations of 'The Sex' include 'le sex', which adds a French flavour to the phrase again increasing the erotic conitations ever further.

you just met a new guy (or gal) and he tells you he loves you and you aren't sure how to respond. You know that he's good and all that, but what would it be like if you couldn't have sex with him? You realize that there wouldn't be any additional feelings if he didn't give you an orgasm every 10 minutes, but of course you don't tell him that or he'll stop giving you an orgasm every 10 minutes. So you tell him "hey honey, I'm not in love with you, I'm in sex with you"

the number one subject to view human weirdness
If an alien came to earth they would see human sexual opinions and think we hate ourselves. Sex is something all living things desire and yet we are suposed to belive it is a bad thing. Sex is a fun, rewarding, and athletic experience. Everyone wants to do the sex. And yet some people actually call sex bad. can you belive that. People constantly ruin their relationships by their opinions on sex. It is kind of strange and destructive to divide physical and mental attraction and in doing so you create weird territorys in relationships that strangle all romance. Its all part of attraction from the touchin to the talkin, dividing it up means frustration without a doubt. So whats the deal with the sex thing, come one world.
