This term pertains exclusively to internet video chatroom culture such as TikTok, Twitch, Omegle, Chatroulette etc.
It describes a young to middle-aged male that chooses an uncomfortably close camera position or, by all given definitions, an awkward fixed position (usually sideways) throughout the broadcast, with the end goal to show themselves as mysterious, attractive, elusive or masculine and powerful. However, this usually goes awry, as the spectators usually feel disillusioned by the vapid and dry character of the individual, who uses this same technique to try and mask deeply seeded insecurities about their position as a man in the world.
Person A: Hey, I really like that guy with tattoos we've seen on TikTok. He's sooo cool!! You remember him, right? Always in the shirt that shows his muscles and kinda looking sideways at me... I also like the double nose piercing guy we saw the other time and...
Person B (cuts in): Wait. The POV guy that's basically leering and doing nothing? He looks both scared an dead behind his eyes at the same time. As your friend, you best check your priorities in life.

This beloved character has very recently passed away. He still is an internet icon, with an enormous cult following. He is recognized for his foul language, neckbrace, (sometimes) wheelchair, mustache, and glasses. He will be sorely missed by myself, and millions of others. A guy that listens to his girl friend any time she needs an ear, no matter how bad it breaks his heart that she's crying over another guy when he knows she would be completely happy with him at whatever cost on his part. He's always there when no one else is, just to watch her go find another jerk to stomp on her self-esteem. But, nonetheless, he stays and waits to be the shoulder she cries on. Every girl claims she wants this kind of guy yet most go and find some kind of manwhore to make them cry. But eventually, at one point in time, they see it. They secretly fall for this guy, their best friend. But he may have already given up. Or they may think,"He's just being nice... He's like that to everyone." or,"I don't want to let out how I feel about him because then it could ruin our friendship."
It seems that everyone else can see whats going on, but not the two people actually involved.
