A colloquial term originating in the late 00s, early 10s which originally referred to strains of weed, and popularized by southern rappers during this time..
Mid is essentially, not Reggie (regular/low grade), but not exactly Kush (high-grade/“za”/exotic), but instead “Mid”.
It since then, has been used as a pretty hilarious insult in the later, 2010s early 2020s, and I’ve been use this way more frequently and popular me since then

a degrading adjective used on social media to degrade something not by saying it is bad, just to say it is unremarkable and nothing special is about it, arguably worse than something being terrible as to be terrible it has to be unique

Slang for “The Best” because mid is a short form of “middle” and all of the best things come from the middle.
Oh man, Leonardo is such a mid artist. You know? Because mid means middle. Like the middle of a cinnamon roll is the best part. Thus mid means best.
