Political Correctness

Using a non-offensive term for something.

"Why are conservatives so offended by political correctness?"

"Because they would rather use the racist and homophobic terms."

Political correctness

A way of censorship and judgment by following what the society establishs it's right or wrong, without giving the events, the ideas or the decisions that are being judged the depth it deserves. Political correctness is most of the time related with left ideologies, but it depends on the country and the subject. In America for example, people use to care more about black people than women, ergo, most of the time, political correctness with black people issues more than women issues. In the other hand, in Mexico people use to care more about women issues than indian community issues, so political correctness is applied to women issues and not to indian issues. Also, an overlooked aspect of political correctness is that, in some cases, it's applied in a way that people don't realise about it, given to the fact that political correctness is only associeted with left ideologies

โ€œMary got laid with more than 30 men and she's only 23, what a whore!โ€ this is an example of political correctness by conservative people.

โ€œIn this new book by Marty R. Jefferson, three black men steal a liquor store and kill the owner, it's such an offense to black people by using such a racist stereotype.โ€ this is an example of political correctness by liber people.

โ€œHeard Liv is a feminist now, so sad, now she spents her days yelling nonsense at rallies, she's only looking for a good fuck.โ€

โ€œHave you seen Joker already? My god what an awful movie, the main character, Arthur, is such an incel!โ€

I'll give some examples of political correctness being used by the liberal part of the population and the conservative> part of the population.

political siding

A person's choice of whether to be a republican, democrat, or neither.

Used instead of "political party", because, for example, I am not with a political PARTY or GROUP. I am just choosing what kind of side I like.

"I choose to be neither, but it appears as though I lean more toward republican beliefs, such as business, religion, and most of all, guns. ^-^ "

politically conscious

Political consciousness describes a person's awareness of politics. An authentic consciousness is linked to understanding one's true position in history and the effects they can make to promote their personal agenda. Those who are politically conscious always go to the polls on voting day.

Those who use Fox as their primary news source will never be politically conscious for reasons beyond their comprehension.

polite laughter

The act of laughing in an encouraging demeanor.

Tyler let put some polite laughter when Kenzie choked on the water as she took a hit of the gravity bong.

Nonstop politics

What the staff of this website seems to love and actively encourage on this site. I mean, look at the words they feature for โ€œWord of the Dayโ€.

Seriously, can you guys please keep the politics to a minimum? Iโ€™m tired of my email inbox and the homepage of this site constantly being filled with politics because the staff canโ€™t stop putting political definitions as Word of the Day. I go here to learn what slang means, not to have another mainstream political soap box. Iโ€™m not telling you you canโ€™t feature political words at all for the rest of this websiteโ€™s span. Iโ€™m just saying ITโ€™S TIRING TO SEE NONSTOP POLITICS HERE! I DONโ€™T WANT TO SEE THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN! FEATURE A DIFFERENT TYPE OF WORD FOR ONCE IN YOUR FUCKING LIFETIME! PLEASE!

...Thank you for your consideration. Rant over.
