A neologism where someone ironically/apolitically compares a situation to George Orwell's dystopian novel "1984" or an intentionally irrelevant/made-up piece of media, in order to mock people who compare modern-day censorship to the novel.

A like Tilly pass is a way of defence if someone says to you “you like Tilly” These like Tilly passes can be obtained by asking people such as Jacob, Will or George and they will decide if your reasoning is good enough for you to have a Like Tilly pass
