boat race

The Boat Race is a rowing race between the Oxford University Boat Club and the Cambridge University Boat Club. It is rowed annually each Spring on the Thames in London. The event is a popular one, not only with the alumni of the universities, but also with rowers in general and the public. An estimated quarter of a million people watch the race live from the banks of the river, and 2004's television audience of more than a half billion viewers makes the race one of the most watched sports events in the world, and almost certainly the most watched amateur sporting event in the world. The first race was in 1829 and it has been held annually since 1856, with the exception of the two world wars.

The boat race this year will be won by Oxford, and millions will watch the televised coverage.

Race not Rice

The motto of any self respecting muscle car driver. One who races real cars and not P.O.S Honda Civic ricers.

Aka - Any kind of Mustang or American made car.

Ricer: OH MAN. I'm going to go spend 4 grand and get my car up to 180 hp!.. That's going to kick your mustang ass!

Horse Race

A drinking game that requires a minimum of 4 people. Preferable opposite genders (unless you're into that stuff) A boy will pair up with a girl and depending on how many people you have there can be up to 6 teams. What will happen is each team has a designated drinker and can cracker. The can cracker will open the can (for shotgunning) after the drinker finishes each drink. The can cracker can only crack the can after the previous drink is finished. First team to finish all 3 shotguns wins. The losers have to make out for a solid 10 seconds. This can be played in a tournament or everyone can go at once.

Broski, Stephanie, and I had to make out after we lost horse race. Luckily we were both hammered after a few games.

Wikipedia Racing

A game played by two or more people, each with his or her own computer at hand. Players agree upon a Wikipedia article as the "target" before the race. On the count of three, all players click the "random article" link on the left side of the page to start each player off at a random starting point. By only clicking links on the articles, each player vies to be the first to get to the "target" page.
