Cook up a few Pies

To cook up a few pies, is to get a few moisty’s on the go, is to collect honey from the hive…. You get it.

‘Let’s go to the clubs and cook up a few pies

‘She was super into it, I was cooking a few pies for sure’

Hey check those hotties, shall we go over and cook up a few pies?’

pickles and pies

The go to place in Rockaway when you are drunk high or all the above. You go here at 4 in the morning or once you wake up for a BEC and an Arizona. Everyone is friends with the cashiers and we all know the code for the bathroom. Pickles is also used to get a six pack every know and then. Taste best after a beach party in the summer when you remember it when you wake up.

Mike: you where are you going it’s 3am
Matt: going to pickles and pies to get a BEC

pied noir

Sometimes used as a term for any European born in Africa, but directly used for ethnic French born in North African colonies before their independence (1830-1960).

Mainland French do not have a good relationship with pieds noirs (plural version of pied noir)

« Oups pardon, je t’ai marché sur le pied

« Oops sorry, I stepped on your foot »
Best line to pick up a french guy when you have 0 inspiration but still wanna engage a conversation.

I wanted to find a way to talk to that guy I like, so I stepped on his foot and said « Oups pardon, je t’ai marché sur le pied »

Pi Colonialism

When math historians from the US and the West never fail to emphasize the contributions of white mathematicians on the development of the number π, with quasi-zero mention of inputs from their nonwhite counterparts.

With a large proportion of journal articles being published by co-authors from different nationalities or races, to what extent is pi colonialism still being practiced in academic publishing today?

Not All Pi’s Are Created Equal.

When the number pi looks so different when she dresses up in various typefaces or fonts (regular, italic, bold, bold-italic)—her facial expression or mood changes in different typographical settings.

Unlike in Helvetica or Times New Roman, the number pi looks quasi-unrecognizable in Avenir Next, be it in regular, italic, or bold. They’re not being critical when they commented that not all pi’s are created equal.
