Love is a very, very hard thing to explain...and can't even /be/ explained, really.
To start off...love is "a very strong feeling towards another person."
The word ove has become a thing of the mainstream. It's a thing written on a pink, low-cut tee shirt. It's a thing written across the bum of a pair of sweatpants.
Love is the thing 90% of songs out there are about.. I wonder why.
Love makes you cry and laugh at the same time.
Love is blind.
Love doesn't mean sex. It doesn't mean "loving" someone for that "hot bod"
To say it simply: God is love, whether you're religious or not.
There is such a thing as love at first sight. Hell, fifth graders can fall in love. Whether it's in their head or not, it's the feeling of love. The butterflies in your stomach. The way you giggle with flat out happiness everytime you think of them.
Love is the thing people hate when someone breaks their heart.
Love is when your heart smiles.
Love isn't just a four letter word.
Like I said...love isn't what's written on your braclet you got from Hot Topic. It cannot be explained, nor defined.
A- It was like it was straight out of a romance novel. She was in his arms, and that was right where she wanted to be. Nowhere, could she be happier.
B- He watched her walk away, holding happily onto the arm of the school jock. It was the worse pain he had ever felt. It was like his heart was being ripped out of his chest. He loved her.
C- False: "Yo dawg I got these shorts! Look at this ass!" *has love written on her skin tight Hollister pants* "Ain't this somethin' Katy Perry would like, so totally wear?! Love!!!!"

it means different things to different people.

Love is an intense feeling felt for another person. When you see the person you love you fell like your heart's about to explode because you love them so much. When the person you love gets hurt you feel as if your heart is ripped in two. When you think about the person you love you feel happy and like your on top of the world. Being inlove is something that many people take for granted. When your in love you will know it.
Being inlove is like being happy everyday.

Love is an undefined phenomenon in the world of science. This may be explained since love is several stimulating chemical reactions, which occurs in your brain, which has everything to do with your DNA. Love is therefore not "Free" but is controlled by your DNA, not directly but indirectly. DNA equals Love.

A word that is usually misused. Some people use that word "love" as a way to get into the other person's pants. But that is actually lust, not love. Many people just give on such a thing because of past experiences but they just didn't really find love. Love isn't another reason to have sex, it is to make you feel good about that other person. I fell in love at 13 for the first time. I didn't even realize it until later on when I realized what love was. I wanted him so badly, it hurt me inside. When you truly love someone, you would do anything, go anywhere, be anything for them, and you would never ask for anything in return. If they love you back, they will do the same for you, no questions asked. You two would be better with each other, you just know it.

A feeling that cannot be expressed in words, that can only be shown, be felt. A feeling undescribable, euphoric. A feeling that is so great that it can bring joy, sorrow, anger, or despair. Love makes you want to be with someone that rest of eternity. It makes you wants whats best for Them, what makes Them happy,even if you arn't that thing. It makes you think of that person as your falling asleep, makes you dream of them and think of them as you wake.
Love is the greatest emotion there is.
It was love that forced him to watch her walk away.
