The Filby effect is where a person/persons revise for exams intesnsely with a large magnitude of time prior to the examination. This early start and volume of revision causes poor exam reaults due to excess preparation.
Symptoms include: Loss of social life before exams and an excesive preference for work during the academic year.
Person 1: I just spent the last 3 weeks revising for this test today.
Person 2: Really?! Unlucky, you'll be subject to The Filby Effect my friend - I started last night.

The Tumblr Effect occurs when one makes a big deal out of something rather common/formal; A showcase of utter pretentiousness.
Phrases like "I can't even", "This", "I'm so done", "My life is complete" and "That's enough internet for today" indicate that the Tumblr Effect is in effect.
The phenomenon get's it's name from the popular network Tumblr, where people making ginormous deals over little things are in abundance.
Ever since the Tumblr Effect became a thing, it became much easier for marketers to simply make a big deal over their own product, rather than actually presenting the qualities of the product. Henceforth, they would get the (Tumblr Effect) ball rolling.

The common act of everything going tits up at once, as seen by increasing the difficulty of Pro Evolution Soccer to anything above 3 atars.
Usual signals of the PES Effect include:
Pschic powers of opponents to read your mind
Telekinetic powers of opponents to make every bounce go their way
Powers of teleportaion so that whenever you do get a lucky break, they are there to steal the ball
The inability of your players to pass
The absolute certainty that when you do get a chance on goal, your centre back who can't hit a barn door is there to take the shot
The internet packing up as you try to write this kind of rant
It usually results in turning the difficulty down to one star and giving the computer a good thrashing "to show it who's boss"; hitting anyone/anything within reach or assaulting anything within throwing distance with a playstation controller
It can also happen in many everyday situations such as during brain surgery, when you drop your scalpel into the patient's head and trip on a bit of brain on the floor at the same time. Then, after you retrieve the scalpel from the cranial cavity...they die; this results in you throwing the scalpel/the patient at any nearby nurses proclaiming "you did your best"

The Shimrul Effect is a natural phenomenon discovered by a British-Bengali pharmacist specialising in the study of khalabhai.
Most major acts of extreme stupidness and disability can be - according to the theory - attributed to other nearby forces of dopiness or disability. This causation effect is what is known as the Shimrul Effect.

When at a club,dance,etc. and the music is blasting in everyone's ears and a few people are grinding(or otherwise aggressive dance) causes everyone else to start grinding,etc and/or become very horny.
Very similar to the rabbit nature of rabbits who see other rabbits mating and then join in.
Mike and Jessica caused a Rabbit effect at the homecoming dance last night, now their both suspended.
