When there’s two people in a relationship and one is a straight 10 and the other one is an ugly 0.
Damn Lauren’s in a zero ten relationship. Her boyfriend is ugly asf.
A strong emotional commitment to another who is far away and often beyond physical access most of the time.
This is something that requires a great deal of maturity and emotion. It is only ever effective in the case of lofty strong loving relationships. In many many cases people can be far too simple minded or immature to benefit from a long distance relationship. If some one is more interested in intimate physical contact with others than they are in emotional bonding than they should not and will not function in a long distance relationship. But if both partners are very serious about each other for reasons beyond physical it can be very worth it because in that situation, one may find it impossible to be satisfied with a replacement relationship.
Bub: Bob, why the hell are you in a long distance relationship with her?
Bob: Because I love her...
Bub: That's so lame. There's so many hot girls here and you can't do anything about it.
Bob: I care about a lot more than that.
Bub: Whatever... you candy ass.

A relationship that is over distance. Although you two are very far apart and don't get to see each other often you talk every single day. This relationship can be very hard but it proves you love each other if you can still be together over distance.
They have a long distance relationship...so they don't get to see each other often.

A romantic relationship based in the present time between two people who choose to enjoy and love each other, without looking back at past relationships and without allowing baggage to cloud the enjoyment of the here and now relationship. The here and now relationship excludes future marriage proposals, excludes long-term expectations and excludes mutual goal planning as a couple. The here and now relationship is accepting of each other, is committed but the couple chooses to keep focused on today, not the past and not the future. The here and now relationship has the freedom to evolve into a permanent relationship if the couple chooses and the opposite is true, it has a downside potential risk of one person wanting more and chooses to terminate that relationship.
1. The woman at the party asked me if we were thinking of marriage, I told her we have a “here and now relationship”
2. A couple who accept their obligations may prohibit them from developing a permanent relationship as in one person moves to east coast and the other stays on the west coast, they are happy to engage in a “here and now relationship” until the obligation surfaces.
3. My mate is uncertain if I am the one for him. We both love each other and enjoy being together. I am accepting of a “here and now relationship” but he is at risk of losing me if I decide I want more.
An up and down, hourly off/on relationship similar to that of Sammi and Ronnie. It is akin to middle school relationships just with more alcohol and poor life decisions involved.
Sammi and Ronnie Relationships that ends in nuptials is called a "Tiger and Elin" Marriage.

A relationship with one person around 50 and one person in their 20s. One person is far along life, as October is far along the year. Both people are adults, this doesn't mean pedos.
After the divorce my dad ended up in a May-October relationship. She was like my age.

The coolest people in the band, and for some reason the most underepreciated. They are two unlikely heroes who band together to take out those snooty guitarists and man-whore singers. They are the heart and sole of music. They also are (normaly) best friends, and they get most of the girls because they aren't drug-addicts and crawling with STDs like the singers and guitarists. With the exception of an occasional guitar solo, bass and drums are the best.
Wow, Cliff Burton and Lars Ulrich (in Metallica had a great Bassist-Drummer relationship..... and probably got all of the girls
