A term of endearment used by black people. Its controversial use stems from its use as a derogatory slur towards black people. The word was originally a mispronunciation of the spanish word negro (meaning black). Today this word is used by people who don't understand the connotations and history of the slur, an example of this is in Call of Duty lobbies where you'll find many people saying this.

A word ONLY black people can say or half black people can say. NO other race other than black should be saying “nigga” or you gone be catching fades.

Example if Any other race says nigga to a black person
Other race that’s isn’t black: wussup nigga
