Cultural Appropriation

One of the best ways to divide us humans even further, by telling to ourselves that sharing cultures is a threat to a nation, even with the reality that all cultures must be welcoming what other cultures can offer for mutual growth.

If you believe a white man for example can not be inspired by cultures made by blacks/yellows/whatever just because his skin is white, you are a threat to the survival of culture itself, as assimilating good values of other cultures to improve yours and sharing your good values to those interested as well is vital to humanity's growth as a whole.

Jane, the Woke SJW: You can't wear a Salakot, you cis white man! That's cultural appropriation! You're endangering Filipino culture by wearing that!

Dylan, A Filipino born in the US: Yes! It is not appropriate! Salakot is for Filipinos only! *takes it from the white guy*

Sean, the white guy: WTF!

Teodoro, a Filipino from the Philippines: *grabs the salakot from Dylan and gives it back to Sean* What are you guys talking about? It's fine! Nothing's wrong with a white guy wearing our creations, as it promotes and shows the capability of Filipino weavers, idiot! Also, it's art, and art must be shared, bobo!

Dylan: *confused on what bobo means*

Man of culture

A cringey title used by creeps with crippling porn/anime addictions in comment sections who like to project their degeneracy onto everyone else.

Typically, whenever someone comments something salacious, erotic, or risque relating to the video, at least one user will reply "ahh I see you are a man of culture as well" or anything of the sort, especially if the OP didn't really intend for their comment to be interpreted as such.

Commenter: ahh a man of culture... ;)

cancel culture

Any excuse good enough to cancel someone's contract early. Howard Stern, Don Imus several other stand-up comedians and even Morton Downey jr have said enough racist, sexist and bigoted comments that easily would have had them removed off the air today. Yet for some reason then it was ok, I guess because people then didn't pretend that there was no 1st amendment?

As far as the Dixie Chicks are concerned, they lost their contract because they catered to the people who put George W. into office and their fan base dropped them. Look at Kanye, he supported Trump and low and behold virtually most his flock left him.

Many of you should take heed of this because essentially large corporations as was predicted are now over shadowing the first amendment and pretty soon if you make a comment that's not offensive but they don't agree well your in tyranny.

If Charlie Sheen said something offensive in the new millennium, it wouldn't have mattered because two and a half men had such high ratings cancel culture wouldn't have been a factor.

Aaron Rogers shouldn't have to apologize to anyone. Really you going to let cancel culture going to fire Aaron Rogers.

Cancel Culture

The decision to alter or oppose something, because it doesn't respect the standards of the current culture.

If it is something with a certain relevance in the culture itself, the fear of losing it will then start processes to put it in pair.
An alteration motivated by the fear to lose smt important.

EXAMPLE:

relative to the newest (2023) reprint of ...The chocolate factory - characters are no longer "fat" or "idiots" after changes by the publisher to make Dahl's works more in tune with modern times. The β€œenormously fat” boy in the book became β€œenormous”. that's a form cancel culture
EXAMPLE 2:
idiot n1 : change a 1% or 10% won't change it really, right?
idiot n2 : Absolutely. There are no such things as disclaimers that can be used to inform the user about the diverse structure of what was considered acceptable by past standards, but now is not, and by that understand that what we are going to experience is not to take lightly outside this specific context.
idiot n3 : hey that statue has a penis. it could be dangerous for kids to watch! let's remove it!
EXAMPLE 3 :

Obese is the n-word for plus-sized people. (It's not, and that's not a sentence to use lightly)
