Don't feed me straight lines

Usually in a comedy situation with two people, one is the "straight man". He sets up the funny guy with a "straight line" -- a statement which allows the funny guy to make a joke. Therefore a straight line is really a "set up" for a joke.

Don't feed me straight lines, young man!

Don’t Feed the Hand That Bites you

Don’t help someone who will try and harm or harass you.
Like being nice villagers in remote country who then attack you and as it suits them to receive aid and simultaneously fight you.

I told him Don’t Feed the Hand That Bites you as he was trying to to get on the good side of his upstairs neighbor that promptly dumped coffee on his laundry.

feeding two birds with one scone

The vegan version of "killing two birds with one stone." Getting two things done that takes the effort of only one or two things getting done at once that usually has to be done separately. An "idiom" (play on words) of an old saying. An aphorism.

I had to go to the grocery store and post office. So, instead of going to the grocery store and then going home to put the groceries away and then back out to go to the post office, I would go to the post office first, then go to the grocery store, thereby "feeding two birds with one scone."

Sally: Facebook... You wear your heart on your feed.

Chris: Did you get a new girlfriend?
James: Yeah, but I haven't told anyone yet, how'd you find out?
Chris: Your wall is covered is bouncy, happy, romantic cliches... You wear your heart on your feed.
