A craft hippie is, simply, a hippie who makes hippie culture themed arts and crafts, and sells them. Examples include beaded necklaces, tie-dye t-shirts, dream catchers, etc. It is not uncommon for such hippies to travel in Volkswagen buses to sell their goods.

Back in the days of the first hippies, uptights (Straights, drones) added "Dirty" in front of "hippie" to try further degredate Free Thinkers. Very simply, the straights started calling Free Thinkers "hippies" and it dinna bother them. So they started calling them "Dirty hippies" to try to get a raise out of them.
That guy asked me if I had a sister who wanted free love. The dirty hippie.

1. A jam band listening, acid dropping hippie who shit talks edm even though they themselves used to, or still do, listen to electronic music.
2. A hippie who is a total dick/bitch and or poser towards any other non hippies which goes against the peace and love mentality of a true hippie.
