rule of the road

Referring to road head, this is usually used in a sentence when someone is talking about a car ride with a girl. The rule of the road is when and if you give a girl a ride somewhere in your car and she gives you no money or gift, she must follow the rule of the road and give you road head.

guy 1: i gave cindy a ride home last night.
guy 2: did she follow the rule of the road?
guy 1: naw, she gave me $10

bill: i gave sarah a ride to wal mart earlier.
jimmy: you use the rule of the road?
bill: yeah, she tried to stop by an ATM to give me cash but i refused and made her sucky sucky

road spam

Those roadside plastic signs advertising dating sites, furniture sales, diets, and work-at-home scams.

They are the guerrilla marketing equivalent of e-mail spam.

From the vast amount of oil-based plastic used to make them, it is clear that the energy crisis is a scam.

Mutt: Check this out, ima be rich an' skinny in 30 days !

Jeff: Yeah yeah. I saw that road spam sign too:

taking it on the road

In reference to the shoddy job most road construction crews do.
A job that to the visible eye seems complete but is actually done half assed and sloppily.

To rush through a job or project in order to be done with it, cutting corners so as not to be detected by outsiders.

I don't really have time to make apple pie to bring to Thanksgiving Dinner so I'm taking it on the road and getting one from the corner bakery and I'll say it's mine.
