Your desire to maintain use of this given weapon, even though a preferable alternative is available to you, will end up getting you killed and ruining your kill/death ratio.

Taking an illegally obtained gun and giving it legitimacy. Giving stolen guns legitimate pedigrees and the proper papers to go along with them. This is a problem in Canada where a gun registry exists
