To clarify, the term "boyfriend" refers to a guy you are incredibly interested in; he doesn't have to be official or even realize that you call him this. He becomes a "gay boyfriend" if he's not down with you. (Because obviously, if he's not interested... he's clearly gay. )

Similar to a puppy boyfriend, a loving, affectionate boyfriend but who is seen as scarier, typically taller, maybe even more mature, and is very possessive over you. In another perspective, a very edgy Puppy Boyfriend who is a little toxic/mean, typically to other people besides their partners. Someone who would stand up and fight for you and maybe even growl.
