A highly misrepresented mental and psychosocial disorder which continues to elude a precise definition even in the 21st century. It is commonly found among those who exhibit extreme social awkwardness and strange habits, usually as a self-diagnosed "condition" that is more often accurately given as an excuse for their narcissism, immaturity, and lack of desire to grow and change as a person. Whether or not autism actually exists in the sense of it being a legitimate medical condition is largely a matter of personal opinion, as it is essentially non-falsifiable and cannot be confirmed or denied in any conclusive scientific sense. When confronted with this information, "autists" will usually say something about a "spectrum."

A brain condition that affects all autistics very differently. And also everybody misunderstands it. Mostly high-functions autistics are smarter than you and low functioning usually have a low iq (just bc their brain) men with autism usually have a hard social life and women are actually really good at socializing. Lmaooo
